In an attempt to beat snow day boredom I got creative with my outfit and makeup for the day, which resulted in taking two hours to get ready, just to run a couple errands. However in tearing apart my closet and trying on everything from a black feather boa to a maxi skirt with heels I decided on something with color and dimension (haha get it dimension cuz galaxy leggings and multiple dimensions? No? Ok moving on) to bring some life to my currently colorless surroundings.

Eye Makeup How-To
I started this look with the same fabulous product I use every single day, the famous Urban Decay Original Primer Potion.
I highlighted my browbone with a sparkly light purple shade “Fiji” from the Sephora Moonshadow Baked Palette- In the Tropics
Then I covered my entire lid with a medium purple shade “Bermuda” from the same palette.
Using a fluffy crease brush I applied a dark purple color “Grenada” into my crease and blended it out.
After finishing the lid, I lined my inner corner with a light silver-blue shade from Too Faced’s Candy Bar Pop-Out Makeup Palette. Then using a dark navy blue shadow from the same palette I lined my lower lash line blending it into the light blue.
For this look, I tried a new mascara that I received in a recent birchbox. The Tarte lights, camera, lashes, 4-in-1 mascara. I instantly knew this was a great product and it quickly became one of my favorites. I generously applied it to my top and bottom lashes.
If I have to spend a day at home, this was a great way to keep myself busy!
