Mystical Egyptian

It’s finally spring break!! Woo hoo!! Everyone’s out partying and being wild, and I’m in my bedroom, playing with makeup. Turn up!! Lol seriously though I’ve been crazy busy, it was so nice to have some time to chill and let my creative juices flow. This is what happened. The Mystical Egyptian was born!

I started by using the Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer all over my face. Let this soak in for a few minutes before moving on to foundation.
I used the Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid-Touch Foundation in 10, "Procelain Ivory" blending it all over my face and neck with a beautyblender
-Because this foundation is liquid it has a very air-brushed and smooth look. I love it for everyday makeup, but for this look I needed something a little thicker for the eyeshadow to adhere too
I placed dabs of the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 15, "Fair" all over my face and blended it out with a beautyblender

After all this I used the Absolute New York Beauty Mark, Beauty Stamp for Face and Body (Heart)
— Full disclosure; when I bought this I thought it was a star but I worked with the heart
I placed stamps above my eyebrows from one end to the other
I gave this a few minutes to set, then I used NYC Sparkle Eyedust Shimmering Brush-on Eye Color in "Lilac Sensation" and brushed it all over my forehead, over the stamps

Taking a fluffy eyeshadow crease brush, I covered my face in Urban Decay “Bordello” Eyeshadow
Then with my beloved Real Techniques Blush Brush, I applied Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in “Peach Satin”

Now my favorite part, eyes!

I started this look the same way all great masterpieces begin, with Urban Decay Original Primer Potion.
I used Urban Decay “Polyester Bride” Eyeshadow on the browbone and as the inner corner highlight.
Then using a flat shader brush I applied a generous amount of Urban Decay “Gonzo” Eyeshadow on the lid.
I lined the upper lash line with Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in “Glam Rock”
I lined the lower lash line, extending to the end of the eyebrow in an extreme wing with Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-on Eye Pencil in “Black Velvet”
I drew another line directly under the black one with Wet’n’Wild Coloricon Eyeliner in “Purple”
I coated my lashes in Urban Decay Supercurl Curling Mascara

Lastly for the lips I used Maybelline Super Stay 24hr. Color in “Constantly Cabernet”

This look was so much fun to create! I just picked up random products and let them inspire me.    Who knows? Maybe next year at Coachella instead of flower crowns and flowy skirts, everyone will be rocking the Mystical Egyptian look.
